~4/22/2003-Received my bender!
I spent the bucks and got a tubing bender from Irvan Smith. I had previously bought a cheap pipe bender, even though everything I read said not to. Trust me, trust them, YOU CAN'T BEND TUBING IN A PIPE BENDER! I ended up wasting some of my expensive DOM tubing before I figured out they weren't kidding. Pipe benders kink the tubing, because the bend radius is too small and the die profile is different for pipe. |
